That'd be great, also I noticed that when selecting many idents to swap it opens one window with a list of tags, I find that annoying on others versions of entity it only opens one window with one tag/name and that will swap all the selected.

Is there any way to hide tag types? I know there is a "recently" selected tag list, but what if we could hide tag types from the tree, there's many tag types which I never need to access, so if we could have a menu or a button to hide tag types from the tree and save the setting it would be pretty usefull.

Or you could have a "graph" view on the side of the tag editor (for heavy tag groups at least, like the scenario, as Xerax pointed out) which outlines all the tag blocks, which you can click to take you there.

Does no-one use ME2? <_<

Just double-click on the Tag and it opens. These are old as it now uses one window for each map and tabs for each tag opened. It's even possible to open the same tag twice with different plugins (although you have to click onto another tag type first to get it to reload the plugin). If the selected reflexive is linked to another tag (shown in red) the updated data is automatically dispalyed.

Once again... <_<

In the bottom left corner is Custom Plugin Selector. Make a custom plugin and select the tags you want. If you are using ME1 then you may need to click on each enabled tag and hit "Select All" then "Save Tag".

I guess I should write more tutorials on new/old options. Anyways, enjoy :P

I use 2.0, 2.1 has so many bugs with the BSP viewer. fix it. ;p

So you want me to add a new feature, but you don't use the newest version, which has the new feature you desire? <_<
It's like asking M$ for transparent windows in Windows 95. It's just not going to happen.

Anyways, what 'bugs' are you referring to? 2.0 has incorrect object rotation, so I'd say it's more buggy that 2.1.13. If you are referring to 2.1.12, it had a coding error which was corrected with yesterday's update (along with other errors). Otherwise I'd like to hear feedback on specific bugs.

It refuses to BSP View alot of my maps that open in 2.0, also the default Meta Editor on 2.1 doesn't show values sometimes (all blank).

And the updater code is broken in 2.1

Okay, the BSP viewer does require more memory now with added options.
As for the Meta Editor, AFAIK it works, but as stated, I recommend ME2 as it's more stable, has more options, is faster and will be where I focus my work.
The updater had issues in earlier versions, but those are solved. D/L the newest and you should have no issues with updates from there on.

For some reason it crashes 2-3 seconds after i load it, same issue as with Grim's x360 Poking version. :(

Try it again, it'll work now. It was a problem in the update info file on the FTP server. It's fixed and the new version has a check for errors and ignores if it finds any.

It crashes while creating bounding boxes for spawns/objects. Would this map happen to have been edited with H2C/H2G? I've updated it to include more information, but if you send me the map I can you what's wrong and maybe include some patch code.

The map hasn't been touched my H2C/G. It was turned into a MPC map by neodos though. I can send it, but it's rather huge. lol. (campaign map).

Sorry to bump but every time I try to open Entity, it just crashes, all it says is "Entity has stopped working", which goes away 10 seconds later. It worked the very first time I opened it, but I forgot to get maps first, which I then did, then tried opening it again and now that happens. Tried deleting and redownloading and it still does it.

I had the problem (with a fresh install) recently and it took several goes deleting the reg entries and user settings xml until it worked, I didn't think to bug report it.

Well, released version 2.1.18 available over Entity's auto-update or:

Basically this version has a new tool called "Plugin Updater" which allows you to retrieve the newest (or older if desired) plugins from a central server, a bitmap preview when the mouse is hovered over an Ident (in Meta Editor 2, which also has an updated Tab system) & the starts of a help file (just very basics right now).

If you tried Entity before, but it kept giving plugin errors because you couldn't find plugins, try this one and run "Tools"->"Plugin Updater"!
