Is there a good model exporter for Halo3/ODST? The current one I know of (xTraction) isn't very good and won't extract half of the models i want.

I have all the fundamental code for (proper) resource extraction done in BlamLib (part of OpenSauce). However, I've been waiting on FireScythe to integrate the COLLADA read/writer into BlamLib so I can work on extracting render models to COLLADA files (WaveFront OBJ files are bullshit and need to die off already).

So to answer your question, at the present, none that I'm aware of.

Awesome, so i guess there will be a method todo it soon. And not to some stupid format like .emf/.obj. :D

Yeah, I'd rather export to something which is part of an open standard and is extensible, so as many users can use it as possible, with as many DCC programs as possible.

Soon? I don't give out dates. Ideally? Sometime this year. Ideally, as in, it would be nice.

So much to do so little time :gonk:. I can prioritise getting the COLLADA and bitmap I/O stuff done if you want Korn.
