Tools used Max & Photoshop.

This is a pretty simple way of getting a decent looking render of your model.

Here's the result of doing things this way.

First off set up your scene to have cameras for each angle you will be rendering like so.

Now set up your render settings however you want, this part comes down to personal preference really, I usually just disable all the blur settings, and set the filter to Catmull rom myself. Anyway, start with a skylight, and create a render from each angle and save them in their respective files.

Now delete the skylight, and place an omni light in your scene, you can stick it anywhere you want really, just as long as it's casting light onto the side you're looking at.

Now place the images on top of each other in photoshop and set the omni layer to overlay and put it on top of it's skylight render counterpart. Mess with the opacity till you get it how you like, and you're good to go.

Go crazy~

There's more examples of it if you want to see here too : http://selentic.devi...rt.com/gallery/
