I'm sure many of you are wondering exactly what this is well I'll tell you. Stats Я' Back is a project to bring a global stat tracking system to Halo 2 Vista. Not only does it calculate basic stats from the post carnage report it will have a more in depth on the actual website.

Our biggest feature, ranks
Posted Image

Fully functional and will update based on players XP. To get it probably set up you'll have to patch your mainmenu.map file but I won't get into the specifics of why that is.

Other than that you can find specific weapon stats on each weapon used in multiplayer, vehicle stats, medal tracking, as well as have each post game carnage report upload and stored to your account at the site,

Basically this is bringing Bungie's stat tracking system to Halo 2 Vista.

Say you have more than one gamertag, don't fret, when you sign up you'll be able to link multiple gamertags to your account giving you stats for each gamertag, as well as stats for your over all performance.

Now wait? what about cheaters? We'll have a staff that will regulate cheating and hacking since well hacking in halo 2 is a very popular thing. It's really quite simple if you've been caught hacking or assumed we'll look over the evidence and declare if it's valid or in-valid,

If someone is found cheating they'll just have their account at the site flagged as a cheater, it will continue to compile stats for them but of course people will know they are flawed. Also they wont be included in the online leaderboards etc.

Another feature will be the act of nameplates. Yes you can do that normally but in these specific servers nameplates will be based on how you stand as a community member etc. Our servers will have checks so if you use a specific nameplate that isn't allowed well hey our servers will change that for you.

so far one server is testing this out to you the ranks will be in the in correct spot, but if enough people are interested here i'll upload the sppf patch.

also currently the server running this is A AsK MLG with the variant Team Sniping (From xbox live)

it does track xp so your rank will update the more you play in it ;)

So the client requires the patch? It cannot be done on the server side only?

The reason I ask is because the MainMenu Mod (also a sppf patch, as you know) is not required for the client to join the modded server. Can you explain what is changed with the patch?

OK here's the rundown of the .sppf patch.

What it basically does is first it replaces the rank bitmaps from their lower pixel sm image to the larger pixel image.

next it changes the xy coordinates of the bitmap location on the screen to accommodate for the graphical updates to halo 2 vista (resolution size)

Upcoming features it will have will be custom nameplates which will be linked to the website ( we are going to replace the old bungie ones with new custom images)

you can download it here.

(I would've uploaded it to the downloads section but I dont have the power to)

Also when you patch the .sppf it will NOT break the current mainmenu.map you are using. (AKA it will not remove shock120's mod if you are using it)

Three questions:

1. Does the mainmenu.map need to be resigned after patching the sppf to it?
2. Where does the mainmenu.map go? I assume Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo 2/maps, but I just want to make sure.
3. Do you need to play on a specific server for the ranks and everything else to show up. I played a game and noticed no difference.

Sorry if any of these are noobie questions, I haven't ever really modded Halo 2 Vista.

So, when are we going to see a server using it? I downloaded it and everything. I can't find a server though with any ranks...

Any updates?

I created a more final version of this, its called Breeze with special thanks to kant, and supersniper. I got everything recoded, but we are running into a slight second player bug that I havent figured out yet.

Not trying to necropost, but with the recent H2A announcement, players have begun to play H2V more again. I was wondering if this project was put on hold or was completed at some point. Ranked games and stat tracking would be awesome to have in H2V.

The dedicated servers have to run the patch also and well no servers run it so this is pointless.
