I hope to god you will use that computer for other things besides gaming.

I assume you're referring to the new build I outlined as opposed to the M15x, but I'll respond to both scenarios just to save the time of responding to one and then another if I answer the wrong one... I use my M15x as a mobile video editing box in addition to gaming, that's the reason I had it configured with the GTX 260M instead of an alternative from AMD/ATI. I use Adobe products a lot for video editing and with CS5's Mercury Playback Engine you can take advantage of practically any CUDA capable video card from Nvidia for faster "live" effect rendering. The faster the card the better the "live" rendering and the faster the "final" encoding. Not to mention that in my search for a laptop to meet the hardware specifications I wanted I found that I might as well splurge the extra $150-$200 for an Alienware with Aluminum/Magnesium chassis and completely customizable lighting effects.

Now, to the desktop I outlined... It will also be used in a similar fashion to what I detailed above, video effects and other editing in addition to gaming. Mostly though I'm a hardware enthusiast and plan on making this thing into an overclocking beast, which is why I'm going to try my hand at a custom water cooling loop and waiting for Ivy Bridge. Ivy Bridge processors will feature 22nm architecture instead of 32nm architecture seen in the current Sandy Bridge processor line. A smaller architecture results in lower voltage requirements which in turn produces less heat which means better overclocking in most cases, not to mention the plethora of other awesome features that should be accompanying Ivy Bridge motherboards.

I'll be throwing some MDPX-X cable sleeving into the mix and going for a Neon/UV green "reactor" style interior look. I'm a fan of the Murder Box style of sleeving and cable management so I'll most likely be trying to emulate it as much as possible. This is why I've allotted myself $5,000 for the system, the water cooling components alone will most likely be close to $1,200...

I love MPE in Premiere Pro. Technically, my GTX 465 doesn't qualify for it, but that's what quick hacks are for. :p

It's not really a hack when all you need to do is add a line to a txt file heh.

I want to get GTX 465M for my laptop when they come down in price a bit. That's another reason I got the M15x, end-user upgradeable CPU and GPU without voiding the warranty.

Pretty sure you cannot use them same key.

MoBo seems a bit cheap but don't know how much your budget is. I use this one and I am pretty satisfied.

finally got around to take a picture :P the LP poster is quite old...didn't bother taking it off though. the other posters are around the rest of the room.

What about it seems cheap? It looks pretty good to me, but maybe I am looking at the wrong specs.

Oh I am just talking about the price...if it's good value then go for it but I tend to spend a little bit more because parts like capacitors are not listed in specs and if one of them fails everything else fails as well. MoBo is just as good as the weakest link and if they can offer a MoBo that cheap they have to save somewhere. Not that this must be true though.

If you do I hit 'choo right back with a big ol brick. Then you'd be dead and I'd make you apologize for being so inconsiderate.
