Now if we want to play halo ce, me must update the version of the game to 1.10, but open sauce don't support 1.10, if open sauce cannot release new verson before the spv3's map release, we need to download a new 1.09 version of halo by ourselves, so why you release .map version of spv3 to us?

Maybe that is a good question. Maybe they will release it after the maps (hopefully not too long after the release)

OS will support 1.10 by the team SPV3 is out. There will never be able to be .map versions of our maps.

Those will be available for anyone who wants to play them still, they aren't going anywhere.

So in regards to OS, might we ever see some form of HDR, or is that not likely?

The members of CMT probably don't know the answer to that because they don't actually develop Open Sauce.

I know next to nothing about programming, but think of the halo 1 engine as an old car. It's hard to improve it because no one makes the parts anymore, and the newer parts just don't agree with it. OS is like a middle ground between the two- it allows for new scripts other features and such that would not be possible to implement in the existing halo 1 code/engine. At least, that's what I think.

It can do a lot. Day-Night System, as of v3.1; it can do what he said, which is script add-ons.

Right now, if you have a programmer, you can do just about anything with Open Sauce.

That's a no. Many features will only work with the coming version.

You will need to update to 1.10 but you can see games from every version of Halo.

Except make changes to Halo's physics. Because if Open Sauce could do that, SPv3 would take even longer to come out because the OS team would be implementing Havok or PhysX. And then everyone would rejoice.
