28 October 2014 - 05:09 AMWe're so evil holding back the new OS from you guys. It's just all done and sitting on a hard drive while we finish the map, because OS is so perfect.
Or OS is still being worked on and is not bug free and ready for release. What do you think it is?
23 October 2014 - 04:25 PMWell Halo has always been a story that was being made up as they went along, there was never a grand scheme that they stuck to which is why there are retcons in every single game or silly reasons given for "changes".
23 October 2014 - 03:32 AMwait wait waaaaiiiitttttt................ There were never brutes during the Battle of Installation 04. Even in the books, Jiralhanae (Brutes) were not brought in until very before the Great Schism (the Prophets replaced the Sangheili (Elites) with the Jiralhanae (Brutes), and thus created a civil war). So why are there all of a sudden Brutes in this battle?
And even in Masterz picture, Brutes were specifically never included in ship raides, they book even specified a reason for it, and it was because they were too vicious and the Elites were to capture any high-ranking personnel.
There is actually more instances of the Brutes taking prisoners than Elites, (Sierra 117, Crows Nest, The Storm, Exodus) but in our story the Brutes were integrated into the Military prior to the events of Halo 2 so that when Truth gave the word to execute the Elites, the Brutes would be in position to kill and outnumber the Elites and seize the ships. It's like in Star Wars how the Jedi led the Clone Troopers only so that eventually the Clones could exterminate them. So the Brutes are ordered to be mingled into the Elite's armies and ships by the Prophets, but the Elites are still commanding ground operations. This will eventually lead to a conflict of interest between between the commanders and the the Brutes as they have different priorities and motives, especially once the Flood are released..
So it makes sense that Brutes would be used on the POA as they are viewed as expendable by the Elites and charging into the enemies ship.. not the safest situation.
23 October 2014 - 03:24 AMPelicans in CE suck due to the fact the control scheme was designed for the recorded animations and preset flight paths, it was never designed to be user friendly.
18 October 2014 - 11:35 PMEverything SPV3 related hinges on the TSC:Evolved release. I'd imagine you'll get an announcement a few weeks after TSC:E releases.
